Sunset Over Water

There are many beautiful places to go boating in Idaho. One of my favorite places is Redfish Lake, located in Stanley, Idaho. It is a  five-mile long glacial lake in the lap of the Sawtooth Mountains.
Redfish Lake, in the Sawtooth National Recreation Area, is named for the brilliant Sockeye Salmon that once came to spawn in such massive quantities that the lake appeared red. If you have never taken your family to Redfish Lake, then let this be the year you experience it. It will take your breath away....
